Laid out at the end of the 19th century, Square Stalingrad is bordered by the Théâtre de la Commune and the Le Studio cinema.
At the corner of rue Bernard and Mazoyer, a small building houses the Municipal Youth Office (Omja) and the Youth Information Point (PIJ).

In the center of the square, a monument is dedicated to Firmin Gémier (1869-1933), born in Aubervilliers and creator of popular theater in France. It also houses a stele in tribute to Marcel Reine, Albertivillarian hero of the Aéropostale and several statues: the sea lion, the cherubs, the big sister protecting a child.

The green space was completely redone between 2007 and 2011, with a water court, a lawn bowling pitch, a multisports ground and a pétanque area. It is regularly used for outdoor events, such as movies in the summer.
