Exhibition - L'océan de Léa

Spanning more than 1,500 m², this monumental installation made from 7 tonnes of recycled paper transports visitors into an imaginary underwater world, where every nook and cranny tells a story. Hand-carved from recycled paper, Junior Fritz Jacquet's works bring to life majestic manta rays, undulating seaweed, schools of jellyfish and mysterious caves. The magic happens thanks to a perfect blend of light, sound and even marine scents, for a total sensory experience. ‘Above all, I want Audonians who know every inch of this iconic place not to recognise it,’ says the artist. For 20 years, he has exhibited his creations all over the world, and this time he is returning to the town where he grew up to offer local residents an unforgettable adventure.
An ecological commitment at the heart of the exhibition

‘Léa's Ocean’ is not just an artistic feat, it's also a call to protect the oceans, the importance of which will be particularly highlighted in 2025, the Year of the Oceans. With the support of the Maud Fontenoy Foundation and the patronage of Franco-Swiss skipper Yvan Bourgnon, the exhibition will raise public awareness of ecological issues through origami workshops and conferences. These initiatives invite young and old alike to think about preserving marine ecosystems, while getting their hands dirty - literally - to learn and get involved.
