  • Communale Saint-Ouen is hosting a unique event highlighting the importance of cultural, creative and solidarity-based entrepreneurship for economic and social development, both locally and internationally, particularly in Morocco.

  • Organised by the association Atome et Carbone, in partnership with the Moroccan NGO Greenside Fondation, the event is supported by the towns of Saint-Ouen, Imouzer Kandar and Saint-Denis, as well as Plaine Commune's Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) network.

    Tuesday 17 December: Inauguration evening

    5.30pm: Official launch (in the presence of local and international representatives, including the mayor of Saint-Ouen and the Moroccan ambassador to Paris).

    Tuesday 17 December: Inauguration evening

    5.30pm: Official launch (in the presence of local and international representatives, including the mayor of Saint-Ouen and the Moroccan ambassador to Paris).
    7.30pm: Live musical performance by a Moroccan group.
    8.00 pm: Solidarity banquet with La Cuisine de Souad. On the menu: committed Moroccan and vegan cuisine; authentic flavours, homemade with 100% organic, local and seasonal produce. 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the Greenside Foundation.

    Tuesday to Saturday (11.30am to 8.30pm) and Sunday (11.30am to 6pm): Market featuring Moroccan artisans and local talent

    Exhibition and sale of Amazigh carpets and traditional clothing (caftans, etc.)
    Exhibition of Amazigh weavings
    Salt and honey stalls run by the local association Kri'zalys

    Wednesday 18 December, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 December

    Traditional tea room, run by the Voisins collective
    Moroccan beauty stand: henna and beauty treatments
    Children's workshops (2.30pm - 6.30pm): fun and scientific activities (€15/child) organised by Atome & Carbone. Workshops available: Flower press (using Moroccan plants) - Glutinous paste
    Continuous screening of the documentary ‘Tisseuses de rêves’ (Wednesday and Saturday from 3pm to 6pm) about women weavers in the Middle Atlas.
